Africa
Africa is the world’s second-largest and second-most-populous continent. It covers about 11.7 million square miles and is home to over 1.3 billion people. The continent is located in the Eastern Hemisphere and is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the west, the Indian Ocean to the southeast, and the Mediterranean Sea to the north. Africa is composed of 54 countries, each with its own unique culture, history, and geography. The continent is rich in natural resources, including oil, gold, and diamonds, but many African countries still face economic and political challenges, including poverty, conflict, and corruption. Despite these challenges, Africa has a rich cultural heritage and a bright future, with a growing number of countries making progress in areas such as education, healthcare, and technology.
